I am a pianist and harpsichordist living in Wellington, New Zealand—teaching piano, cello and voice at my studio in Miramar and in area schools. My teaching philosophy is that music is for everyone, whether you are wanting a career in music or simply to expand your appreciation, skills and enjoyment of music. Each year, I hold student concerts at St Paul’s Lutheran and encourage students to perform in WPIG.

With a background in Montessori teaching in the USA and Germany, my approach centers on helping students apply and understand the various techniques and approaches they learn in the lessons to best achieve their desired outcomes and goals.

My degrees include a BA in Music from Miami University, an MA in Music Theory from Indiana University and a DMA in Harpsichord Performance from the New Zealand School of Music.

My teachers have included Elisabeth Pridonoff, Mark Kroll, Douglas Mews, Erin Helyard, Annemi Egri, Sariel Mahler, Joan Moynagh, Diedre Irons and Frank Glazer.
